The issue is that no hardware/software is infallible, regardless of cost or sophistication, and no data centre is immune from downtime due to power failures. For this reason Cloud Data infrastructure is spread over various geographic locations so that even in the case of a total blackout at one site, your website will back online immediately and with no manual intervention or loss of performance.
Will our website be offline or affected whilst the change is taking place ?
No, the switch will be seamless so you there will be no downtime or interruption to your current online services. Will we notice any change to our current website? The only change you may notice is that your website loads faster and of course using the Cloud system means that it will never goes down.
Will it cost more?
Although we have reviewed our hosting tariffs, none of our clients’ should be paying any more than they currently do. However, as part of the new price structure is based on the numbers of visitors your site receives you could actually end up paying less.
